Please note that all onsite Daoist trainings are being held at the new Temple site in Tennessee.
All initiates must register on this site for trainings that you will be attending. This will help us to better prepare for trainings, and send relevant material to participants.

Due to the pandemic, we are also holding a series of online Daoist training events for our initiates, and interested members of the public. For information about these events, visit our sister site at the International Medical Qigong College.
Daoist Training: Dizi/Tudi
Daoist training. This training is only open to formal Daoist students of Dr. Shannon.
- Recite the Big Eight Morning Prayers (八大神咒);
- Meditate upon each of the Big Eight Morning Prayers (八大神咒) in progression;
- Explain exterior and interior meanings of the Big Eight Morning Prayers (八大神咒);
- Discuaa specific chapters of the Dao De Jing (道德经) and other classics;
- Teach and review several healing talismans;
- Teach and review the Qing Cheng Meditation which builds the Lower Dantian, balances Fire and Water, places the Emperor upon his/her throne, nourishes the 5 Yin organs, opens the Belt Vessel and Microcosmic Orbit, and stimulates the Upper Dantian;
- End each day with a journey to the abyss in Quiescent Meditation.
This training is designed for Tudi and Dizi initiates. Higher level students are welcome to attend, but should know that the training content will be designed for newer initiates.
Daoist trainings are attended on a donation basis. The suggested donation is $800 for a 4 day training, or $1000 for a 5 day training.
